How do I create a wedding website?
It's easy! Choose a template you like, then edit details like the couple's names, date, time, and venue. You can preview and share instantly with guests.
How much does a wedding website cost?
Create and publish an invitation free. Standard is RM59 for every theme, full RSVP management, a digital guestbook and salam kaut. Premium is RM119: your personal invitation designer builds the whole invitation for you. One payment, no monthly fees.
How can it be free?
The Free plan lets you build and publish a complete invitation with 2 themes, a cover photo, unlimited RSVPs and full attendance totals. Guest details are available for the first 5 responses. Free invitations show a small Kahwin Studio credit at the bottom. Standard (RM59) and Premium (RM119) are one-time payments for couples who want more.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it. You can start building your invitation without signing up, and your progress is saved on this device. Create a free account when you are ready to publish, so your invitation and RSVPs are kept safe.
What are the advantages of wedding websites over physical cards?
Wedding websites are more cost-effective (start free, paid plans from RM59), eco-friendly, easily editable anytime, and come with automatic RSVP tracking. Guests can also save the date directly to their phone calendar.
Can I edit the website after sharing?
Yes! You can edit your wedding website anytime. Any changes will automatically update on the shared link - no need to resend.
Can I add background music?
Yes, on every plan. Paste a YouTube link to your song and it plays when guests open your invitation. Guests can mute it at any time.
How do guests RSVP?
Guests open your invitation link and fill in the RSVP form in seconds, with no app or account. Attendance totals appear on your dashboard.
How long does it take to create a website?
Ready in minutes. With ready-made templates, you only need to enter your event details and your website is ready to share. Rather not build it yourself? With Premium, your personal invitation designer sends a first draft within 3 working days of receiving your details.
Can I share the website on WhatsApp?
Absolutely! You can share your wedding website link via WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, or any social media platform.
Do guests need an app or account?
Guests need neither an app nor an account. Kahwin Studio works entirely in your web browser. You and your guests can access the wedding website from any device without downloading anything.
Is a wedding website suitable for Malay weddings?
Yes! Our templates are designed for Malay weddings including Akad Nikah and Kenduri Kahwin. You can include details for both ceremonies in one website.
Can I publish free, and what happens after 5 responses?
Yes. Create an account to publish your invitation free. Guests can keep submitting RSVPs. Every response counts towards your attendance totals. You can view details and wishes for your first 5 responses; the rest unlock when you upgrade to Standard or Premium.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium?
With Standard, you build your own invitation using every theme, a dashboard to manage all your RSVPs and a digital guestbook. Premium includes everything in Standard, with your personal invitation designer creating the invitation with you.
What do I need to send for Premium?
Whatever you already have. Your names, the date and the venue are enough to start. Add photos and a theme you like, or let us choose. A wedding card, a PDF or a WhatsApp message works too, and we'll ask about anything missing.
How long until I see my invitation?
Your personal invitation designer WhatsApps you within 1 working day of payment. Your first draft is ready within 3 working days after we receive your names, date and venue, and we'll adjust it with you before it is published.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Keep your website and existing responses when you upgrade. Standard is RM59 and Premium is RM119, paid once. Moving from Standard to Premium currently costs RM60.
Does a personalised link include my own domain?
Standard and Premium let you choose an available address on Kahwin Studio, such as kahwinstudio.com/aina-hakim. A separate custom domain is not included.
